TERMS & CONDITIONS


STUDIO POLICIES

  • A maximum of 10 clients are able to attend a group session.

  • All sessions run for a total of 50 minutes.

  • As a courtesy to others, mobile phones are not to be used during class.

  • Please let your trainer know of any injuries or concerns prior to the class commencing.

  • Grip socks are compulsory for hygiene and safety reasons.

  • Out of consideration for the trainer, other clients, and your safety, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to your class, our trainers reserve the right to refuse you participating.

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to attend

  • Pregnant clients may participate in group classes up until 16 weeks. You will be turned away if you are beyond this.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Group Classes: Cancellations need to be made more than 10 hours prior to your class beginning to avoid forfeiting your session. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, however as there are limited spaces available, we need to enforce fair and consistent standards. Cancelling a session will allow wait listed clients to take your place in the class. (If you hold an unlimited membership option, a $10 late cancellation fee will be deducted from your nominated account).

  • Private Classes: A strict 24 hour cancellation policy applies. Please cancel online or contact us on 0450 400 217.

  • A minimum of 2 clients are required for a group session to run. If 3 hours prior to a class starting, you are the only client booked in, the class will unfortunately be cancelled. When this occurs, your trainer will contact you to inform you of the cancellation, and to help reschedule if you wish. Please note that if you choose not to reschedule, you will not be charged for the session.

 

NO-SHOW POLICY

  • If you reserve space in a class and do not show up without cancelling online or contacting us, a $15 fee will be debited from your account.

 

MEMBERSHIPS

  • Memberships will be activated from on the date of purchase. Payments will be deducted for your month in advance.

  • All memberships will be paid in full on a monthly basis by direct debit or credit card. This meaning, your payment will always fall on the same date (i.e. the 14th of every month.)

  • An initial 3 month lock in period is applicable to all membership options. After this time period, payments will continue to be deducted on their monthly cycle, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • To cancel a membership, 14 days notice must be provided. Please note, memberships cannot be cancelled within the initial 3 month period.

  • To suspend a membership, 14 days notice must be provided. Suspensions can be granted for a minimum time frame of 14 days, and up to a total of 2 months per year. The decision to suspend a membership is at the sole discretion of Cardea Pilates.

  • If monthly payments are declined for card issues, funding problems or security reasons, an $11.90 dishonour fee will be applied to your next payment to cover the cost of resolving the issue.

 

PURCHASES

  • All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferrable between individuals

  • Monthly passes unable to be extended/ put on hold unless you are injured, in which case a medical certificate will be requested.

  • Our 4 for $59 introductory offer is valid one time only to new clients.

  • All memberships will be deducted as per the cycle outlined on your contract agreement. This will be paid by either direct debit or bank transfer.

  • Payment must be made prior to booking. You must either have pre-purchased sessions on your account or pay at the time of booking in the studio

 

BOOKINGS

  • You are required to book into a class prior to attending. This can be done online via mindbody.

  • If a class is full, we offer a waitlist system that is automated to let you know via sms/email as soon as a space becomes available. Should you receive this offer, you are under no obligation to take the class, however we do ask that you respond by accepting or declining the offer. If you cannot attend, your place will be offered to the next client on the waitlist. Failure to respond to the waitlist offer will result in a forfeited session.

  • Sessions cannot be used by anyone other than person booked into the class. If someone other than the person booked in arrives to use the session they will be turned away or asked to create their own account and purchase their own sessions.

  • Session packs will activate from the date of purchase.

 

PERSONAL AGREEMENT

I understand that classes may be physically strenuous and that full care must be taken when receiving instructions and performing exercises. I accept that there is potential risk of personal injury, property loss or death, and I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Cardea Pilates or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Cardea Pilates will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings. If in the unlikely circumstances your property is to go missing, please report it to a staff member immediately.

 

I understand that booking into a class with Cardea Pilates demonstrates that I agree with the above Terms & Conditions
